Description
When it's time to find Greatest Common Factor and Least Common Multiple, do your students spend ages making T-charts and factor lists? Not only is this method time-consuming, my students often forget a crucial number pair and come up with a wrong answer.
The ladder method is quick and easy for prime factorization, and a double ladder makes GCF/LCM a breeze! These guided notes walk students through the steps, and the practice page gives students a chance to try it on their own. Answer keys are included!

This was a great resource! Thank you for creating and sharing.
My kid (9th grade, behind in math but catching up) was frazzled - he just couldn't get the hang of Least Common Multiples and Lowest Common Denominators - and I managed to find a math video he was willing to watch.
This worksheet practice packet looked the closest to the video, and the handy notes page helped him work through the methods.
Added bonus is it was clear enough that he was able to use the packet to teach himself the concepts.
He's come to me twice in as many days to tell me the ladder method is actually working for him.
Thank you!
Thanks
