Description

Are you looking for a fun spring math activity? Do your students need practice in simple addition? Are they bored with worksheets? These no prep, interactive Ladybug Addition digital task cards (BOOM™ Cards)  provide an engaging way to learn simple addition. The ability to understand addition and subtraction equations is part of the math standards regarding operations and algebraic thinking, even in the primary grades.

Students in Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade (and maybe Third Grade) will add the number of ladybugs (some people call them ladybirds) on two leaves and type in the sum. They will learn to recognize the meaning of the addition and equal signs in an equation. Fun Springtime math review. Also a nice follow-up to a Science unit on ladybugs.

Have you tried BOOM Cards™? They are online digital task cards! No prep! No printing, cutting, or laminating!

Students can complete the tasks on their individual devices (tablet, iPad, Chrome Book), or take turns at the interactive white board. The cards are self-correcting and give immediate feedback. Correct answers get circled in green and incorrect answers get crossed out in red…and the students can try again.

When you download this product, you will get a PDF with a link to access your BOOM Card™ deck on BOOM Learning.
