Description
These summer-themed worksheets were made to help therapists fill in the gaps in their students' language processing skills! They require no prep aside from printing and are great to use during in-person sessions in addition to homework. Many can also be used write on your tablet as well. There are at least two worksheets to work on each skill receptively and at least two worksheets to work on each skill expressively (4 styles of worksheets with 2 different sets of targets = at least 8 worksheets to use per skill).
HERE'S THE DEAL: This set is DOUBLE the size of my normal language processing resources to cover your summer school / ESY / summer break needs! That means that there are at least four activities (2 receptive, 2 expressive) per skill instead of 2!
HERE'S THE BREAKDOWN:
Vocabulary/Labeling: 4-35
- summer, zoo animals, farm animals, sea creatures, food, clothing, transportation, household
Functions: 37-44
Associations: 46-53
Categories: 55-62
Antonyms: 64-71
Synonyms: 73-80
Concepts: 82-89
Similarities: 91-102
Differences: 104-117
Multiple Meanings: 119-128
Idioms: 130-137
Analogies: 139-146
Attributes: 148-155
(Attributes are a great way to assess/analyze the depth of processing and kinds of connections your student is making)
Check out the preview for an example of most types of worksheet included.
PLEASE NOTE: There is a summer THEME to each page, but not all pages have to do with summer content; there are target items from other seasons throughout the pages (e.g., winter hat on an associations page).
