Late Work Coupons can be used in whatever way works best for your particular classroom situation. I give my students 1 sheet (4 coupons) per semester. As per the instructions on the coupons, it must be stapled to the assignment, filled out with the name of the assignment and original due date, and turned in by the 2nd class period after the original due date.

In my classroom, these are not used for absences. I also will collect any unused ones at the time of the semester final and award a few extra credit points for them.
