What others say

"As soon as I brought in these late assignment slips, my students began diligently handing them in on time. I can't say we used a lot of them, but that was the whole point. Thank you so much!"

Description

Instead of students getting penalized for late work, allow a request for extension! This simple switch has been a game-changer in my classroom and can be used in any subject area! Students fill out the request form and submit it to the teacher prior to the due date. If approved, they can still "turn something in" by using the assignment placeholder so that they don't get marked as "missing" and teachers have an accountability tool. Works well for middle and high school students to learn to take more autonomy and responsibility. Very helpful for Gifted students!!

Great value

I really like this template for students to take ownership of their progress on their unit project. I will use it for all my future projects! I love love love the place holder to help make sure I communicate with families that I am missing work (and I am actually missing it)!
