Description
These addition mats are designed to reinforce students' knowledge and mental computation of simple number facts in an enjoyable and interactive way.
Students will use the provided Little Brown Hen Addition Boards and spinners (or 10-sided dice) to find the sum of the addition problems. When they answer correctly, they will place a colored egg on the corresponding sum. The first person to cover their board with colored eggs is the winner! Alternatively, students can find the egg with the answer to match the sums on their boards.
This set includes:
- 10 Little Brown Hen Addition Boards
- Colored eggs numbered from 1 to 19
- Small colored eggs (48) for counters
- Spinners (or 10-sided dice)
The boards can be used in whole-class activities or independent learning centers, allowing for flexible implementation.
Encourage students to time themselves as they solve the addition sums, recording their times to track progress and challenge themselves. They can also use the boards to play Addition Bingo, adding an extra element of excitement to their learning.
