This download includes the 27-slide PowerPoint, 2-page and 3-page versions of the Greek and Latin roots KEY, and the graphic organizer for students to follow along with the PowerPoint. All handouts come in both PDF and MS WORD format.
The PowerPoint and graphic organizer have 25 questions or tasks for students to complete. For the first ten questions, they read the name of the dinosaur, then look up Greek/Latin roots to discover it’s meaning. For the next ten questions, students read the English translation, then look up the Greek/Latin roots to piece together the name of the dinosaur. For the last five questions, students use Greek/Latin roots to make up your own dinosaur and then draw an image of that dinosaur.
Enjoy!
