This PowerPoint allows you to teach students the lattice multiplication method by modeling and providing guided and independent practice as desired. The modeling and guided practice slides allow you to write the numbers in the chart on the SMARTBoard or Promethean Board. The independent practice slides are animated so that the numbers students should multiply are highlighted, and once they state the answer, you can reveal each answer box by box.
Look for my other download that acts as a follow up activity to this to have students actively practice lattice multiplication by dragging repopulating numbers on the SMARTBoard!

There is one mistake on the Monopoly slide. It should say 22 x 17 and instead says 22 x 31. Great way to demonstrate lattice multiplication
