This is a flip lesson that teaches students how to use Google Earth to find a building, then take a screen shot using SMART Notebook's screen capture to insert into their own files. Students then measure the perimeter and record their finding using SMART Notebooks' page recorder or SMART Recorder. Lesson includes 3 short videos showing students how to use Google Earth and how to use SMART Notebook's screen capture and ruler tools. They can be found in the attachments. It also includes a 5 question assessment that can be used with SMART Response system of your choice.
