This is a free video lesson that provides a simple and mathematically meaningful way to calculate Least Common Denominators (also used to compute Least Common Multiples).

The method is named "The Factor Box Method". The method is based on factoring composite numbers into prime factors and then finding the prime factors that two (or more) composite numbers have in common. The "factor box" provides a very visual and consistent way to students to learn and understand the computation of Least Common Multiples.
