These measurement task cards are an engaging way for students to practice solving word problems using measurements. Students will read a word problem and find the solution and use the correct measurement label. This resource is the perfect way for students to practice solving 2 and 3 digit word problems, as well as using different US customary (inches, feet, yards) and metric measurement labels in second grade.
Students will read word problems involving lengths measured in centimeters, meters, inches, feet and miles and solve. This set of task cards includes 2 and 3 digit word problems and 2 step word problems to challenge students.
These task cards are available digitally through Google Slides™ and are also printable as well. They are spring themed and no prep-- just print the cards or assign digitally to use as a math center!
CCSS Alignment:
- 2.MD.B.5 Use addition and subtraction within 100 to solve word problems involving lengths that are given in the same units, e.g., by using drawings (such as drawings of rulers) and equations with a symbol for the unknown number to represent the problem.
