Back to basics! I currently teach in an academic resource room for Algebra 1 & Algebra 2. This curriculum is taught to my Algebra 2 students. Providing guided notes that are easy to read and offer plenty of work space is key for my students. As I work through the year, I'm slowly remaking my curriculum to adapt to my current students' needs.
Linear Functions Unit - Lesson 1: Relations & Functions - Discrete & Continuous Functions. This lesson is taught during an 88 minute block (2 periods per day) over 2 days. We cover discrete functions (relations, graphs, maps, and tables) on day 1. On day 2 we cover continuous functions (diagonal lines, vertical/horizontal lines, and parabolas).
