Back to basics! This year I was asked to teach a low level Resource Algebra 1 for freshmen. Providing guided notes that are easy to read and offer plenty of work space is key for my students. For this reason, it gave me a push to remake my curriculum :)
Unit 3: Functions. This is Lesson 5 - Evaluating Functions. This lesson is taught during a 44 minute period over 2 days. In this lesson, students will evaluate functions based off an equation on day 1 and based on a graph for day 2. They will plug in values and utilize their calculator to find the answer.
