Student note guide to the PowerPoint lesson III in the "Science Skills" unit - introduction to physics. This lesson examines how to use scientific notation and conversions; the SI unit system and metric prefixes; identifies the difference between accuracy and precision; and discusses the different temperature scales used in science.
