Description

Whether you are a special educator or speech language pathologist, there are times when you can't be the direct services provider. In those times, you need to be able to depend on others to help students learn to communicate to the best of their ability.

Communication is a tricky skill to teach especially for those with complex communication needs. Help your students and assistance learn the appropriate wording and prompts to help student learn to request utilize a highly preferred activity - snack!! This strategy could be expanded to help students learn to request more items as well.

Lesson Includes:

4 pages of detailed descriptions and scripted prompts to elicit correct responses from students with varying skill levels.

Specific discrete trial or errorless learning strategies for working with students learning to use communication devices & switches.

Differentiated Data Collection Sheets

Can be handed to a paraeducator or substitute to continue fidelity of programming and communication for students.
