Description

If you are looking for a quick way to wrap up your lessons, then this EMOJI themed lesson closure presentation is perfect! This lesson wrap-up activity comes as a presentation in Google Slides™.

Closure to lessons is a vital component to the learning process. Someone once told me that lesson closure is like a jar full of butterflies. If you leave the lid unscrewed, then all of the butterflies (knowledge) will fly away. If you close the lid, then all of the butterflies will stay in place.

Even if you take 2 minutes to wrap-up your lessons it will totally be worth it!

Use this presentation in Google Slides™ by projecting the main image (Slide #4) on your board. Choose (or have a child choose) one of the images and click on that image. Each image is linked to a different question that will help students reflect on what they learned during the lesson. Click the home button to return to the main slide and then click on another image for a different question.

Students can respond to the question in a variety of ways:

★Students can respond to questions on a virtual wall like Padlet or BoardThing

★Students can respond to questions using a chatroom like Today’s Meet

★Students can respond to questions in your Google Classroom community

★Think, Pair, Share: Students partner up and take turns talking/listening

★Type answers in a digital journal or write in a paper journal

★Class Discussion

★Exit Tickets

Included:

★20 questions on slides that are linked to the main slide with different images to click

★Directions slide on how to use this product

★Directions slide on how to change up the slides that are linked to various images so you can use this over and over again!

This product comes as a link in a PDF file. First, make sure you are signed into your Google™ account. Click on the link and you will be prompted to "Make a Copy". Rename the file to whatever you would like. It will be sent directly to your Drive!

This was great as a quick exit ticket! It made hybrid learning a lot easier since I could direct all students to fill out the form!
