Let's Go Shopping Math Game
Share

Description

Let's go shopping game is a super interactive math activity you can play with your students. It can be adapted to all grades even if you have multiple levels in your classroom. How does it work? Very simple, you will find bills with math operations, the result of each operation is how much money is that bill worth. for example if you have a bill with five stars that means you have 5$ to spend at the farmers market. you can even make it more realistic and play with real food or toys.

In this document you will find the templates of price tags, bills, baskets, farmers market food and ideas that you can use for inspiration. print, cut and laminate them so you can use them as many times as you want. assuming you'll laminate them, your students can write the answer on the back of the dollar bill with a whiteboard marker, that way they'll know how much money they have to spend.

The objective of this game is to reinforce math operations knowledge so you can have dollar bills worth 7$ or 15$ if you desire.

I hope you have fun with your students as much as i did. your comments are very much appreciated, please follow my store for more awesome ideas like this one! you can also follow me on Instagram @creativelearningideasstore for more educational content.

P.S. make sure your price tags have all the correct answers.

My students love activities like this. Makes them feel that they are actually shopping in a store.
