Description
This is a Letter & Number Recognition Tracking Sheet. Use it to keep track of which letter (names or sounds) and numbers students have learned.
How to use:
Each box on the sheet contains all the letters from a-z and numbers from 1-10. Each student is assigned a box on the sheet, which is used to track the letters or numbers students have learned.
Teacher Tips:
- During letter and number work, underline the letter or number that was introduced, circle the letter or number if the student needs practice the next time it is revisited and draw a checkmark over the letter or number if it has been mastered!
- This sheet is customizable depending on the language program used at your school. To customize the order of the letters in each box, begin with the first box on the sheet. Double-clicking the first letter in the box and replace it by typing the new letter. Once the each letter has been reassigned within the first box, copy and paste the content of the first box into the other boxes.
Montessori Connection:
Use the tracking sheet for letter sounds and quantities first. Once mastered, move the student's name to a different copy of the tracking sheet and use this second copy for recording letter names and numerals.
