Description
This resource is designed to provide structured, explicit support for learners who have difficulty remembering letter sounds, identifying differences between similar sounds, or producing sounds clearly.
Learners see, hear, and feel how sounds are made through clear visuals, simple explanations, and accurate audio models. This approach is designed to support understanding beyond memorization and help educators guide instruction with clarity.
This presentation teaches letter sounds with attention to how each sound is produced, including mouth positioning and movement. Visual, auditory, and physical cues are used to support clear sound learning and letter-sound connections.
Each sound includes:
- image of mouth position and keyword
- description of how the sound is formed
- audio clips of accurate sound production
- fully scripted teaching language for adults
This lesson is designed for short, focused instructional sessions with adult guidance. It can be used for letter sound introduction, reading intervention, at-home practice or review when learners need extra clarity.
This multisensory strategy can be used with young learners, as well as older students who may benefit from a fresh, more explicit approach to learning letter sounds.
There is no required pace. Completing all letters in one session is not recommended, as learners need time to practice and integrate their learning. Instruction can be adjusted based on learner needs.
To use this resource, you will need:
- at least one screen to display the lesson to the students
- access to a second screen or printer so the adult can reference teaching notes
- a Google account
Digital download with access to Google Slides. No physical product will be shipped.
This resource is provided for educational purposes. Learner progress and outcomes may vary based on individual needs, implementation, and instructional context.
