Description
Level 3: Multiplication Mixed-Up Speed Tests
Having used this product with a variety of stages and abilities, there are huge benefits of individualised speed tests. This product was designed to use as a speed test. However, you may wish not to use a timer based on your own personal teaching style or for your learners’ needs.
Level 3: Multiplication Mixed-Up includes 10 tests:
o 3a: 2x, 4x, 5x
o 3b: 3x, 4x, 5x
o 3c: 6x, 7x
o 3d: 8x, 9x
o 3e: 10x, 11x, 12x
o 3f: 2x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 10x, 11x
o 3g: 3x, 4x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 12x
o 3h: 0x – 12x (Mixed 1)
o 3i: 0x – 12x (Mixed 2)
o 3j: 0x – 12x (Mixed 3)
Suggestion for use:
Students work through the tests at their own pace before moving on. If you use a timer, I suggest 5 minutes to answer 50 questions. This can be differentiated by students having more time or to work at their own pace. Have a timer on the board for students to record when they are finished (not a countdown version).
The whole class can sit together for 5 minutes even though everyone may be on a different test. Once finished, they turn the test over at their desk and work on something quietly while the rest finish.
**All answer keys included and they are great for peer assessment!**
