Description
Are you looking for a fun, hands-on way to teach life cycles in your classroom? This Life Cycle Activities: Life Cycle Wheel Craft resource is a meaningful (and super engaging!) way for students to explore and demonstrate their understanding of how living things grow and change.
Perfect for science centers, whole-group instruction, small groups, or independent practice, these life cycle wheels give students a chance to create, interact with, and revisit key science concepts in a memorable way.
What’s Included in This Life Cycle Bundle
This resource includes 3 differentiated versions of the life cycle wheel activity so you can meet the needs of all your learners:
- Option 1 – Color, Cut, Create
Students color, cut, and assemble their own life cycle wheel from scratch. This is great for reinforcing sequencing and fine motor skills.
- Option 2 – Match, Glue, & Build
Students color, cut, and glue the correct words or sentences describing each stage of the life cycle in the right place before assembling the wheel. Perfect for literacy integration!
- Option 3 – Center Version (Print, Laminate, Reuse!)
Print in color, laminate, and assemble the wheels to create a durable, reusable center activity that students can explore again and again.
You will need one brass fastener (brad) per child to assemble each life cycle wheel.

Your students will explore the life cycles of:
- Ladybug
