Circuit Instructions

1. Print out all of the slides (cardstock or regular paper will be fine). You may choose to laminate them for durability.

2. Randomly place the signs around the room (mix them up, do not place them all in the order they print out). You may tape them to the wall or place them on the tables/desks.

3. Students may begin at any location. They will read the question on the sign and find the answer on another sign around the room.

4. There are 3 options for student recording sheets (details on following pages).

5. When students find the answer, they will write the answer to the question.

6. Students will then read the next question that is located at the bottom of the sign and then proceed to find the answer around the room.

7. This process continues until the students have completed all of the questions and answers.

8. If completed correctly, the students should START and FINISH the activity at the same sign (make a complete “circuit”).

This is a way to have kids move for a few minutes. I break up larger lessons into beginning, middle, end. Where a few students are up at each time during class, while others are being retaught, catching up etc. Love finding this!!!
