Description

Students will learn about light pollution and its effects on the environment, humans, wildlife, and energy consumption. The lesson uses video, interactive maps, images, and real-world homework reflection to take an in-depth look at the invention of light and its impact on the world. The resulting project is a public service announcement educating the public on an issue and proposing solutions to light pollution.

Aligns with many standards, including Ontario Science Standards for 4-6th grades!
