This is a set of 20 task cards on line plots that align to common core standard 5.MD.2.
5.MD.2. Make a line plot to display a data set of measurements in fractions of a unit (1/2, 1/4, 1/8). Use operations on fractions for this grade to solve problems involving information presented in line plots.
There are five separate graphs and four questions on each graph. Students will answer questions to determine how many items are in all, how many were at least or exactly a certain amount, and add up all of the measurements to find a total.
Each card has 4 multiple choice answers to help students with test prep while they practice!
Recording sheet and answer key are included.

For example, given different measurements of liquid in identical beakers, find the amount of liquid each beaker would contain if the total amount in all the beakers were redistributed equally.
