Description
This Line Worksheet was developed to help young students learn the names of lines and give them a chance to practice before delving into a line art project. This worksheet is typically completed after showing students a PowerPoint about Lines. Students then are asked to find lines around the classroom. This is meant to be used as a teacher-guided lesson. The teacher has students fill each box with lines stopping after each box to ask students what they might use the line for in a picture. Example: What could you make with a Zigzag line? Students normally respond with mountains or teeth. This lesson has been used with Kindergarten as an introduction and with 1st and 2nd as a review.
