Description

This editable algebra foldable provides students with notes, formulas, and plenty of practice working with linear equations. It provides a great summary of the following skills:

  • Slope
  • Slope- Intercept Form
  • Point- Slope Form
  • Standard Form
  • Parallel and Perpendicular Lines

Each tab includes a variety of questions such as graphing, writing equations from graphs, writing equations from points/ slope, and manipulating equations between forms.

Perfect for interactive math notebooks! I use this type of assignment during whole group guided instruction, but it would also work great for intervention, small group, centers, or during a tutoring session.

This download includes a print + go PDF version, as well as the editable PowerPoint file. Please download the preview to get a better look at the page set up and the exact content included.

This foldable was perfect for our interactive notebooks. Thank you! The only suggestion I have is to change the title to "Linear Functions" to indicate that it is indeed about functions in two variables and not linear equations in one variable.

Create equations in two or more variables to represent relationships between quantities; graph equations on coordinate axes with labels and scales.
For a function that models a relationship between two quantities, interpret key features of graphs and tables in terms of the quantities, and sketch graphs showing key features given a verbal description of the relationship.
Compare properties of two functions each represented in a different way (algebraically, graphically, numerically in tables, or by verbal descriptions). For example, given a graph of one quadratic function and an algebraic expression for another, say which has the larger maximum.
