Description

Included in this bundle are three conceptual lesson plans that help introduce tough topics to students, such as how graphs of lines show solution sets or why the solution to a system is the intersection point. Lots of color with a purpose to help students access the topics. Also included are two card sort activities to be used in class as warm ups, exit tickets, or partner activities so you can assess student understanding along the way. Answer keys are included with all activities.

I also included a bonus worksheet with an activity I use to introduce students to standard form! Enjoy!

I hope you love this bundle! Please leave me a review to let me know how it went!

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Represent constraints by equations or inequalities, and by systems of equations and/or inequalities, and interpret solutions as viable or non-viable options in a modeling context. For example, represent inequalities describing nutritional and cost constraints on combinations of different foods.
Solve systems of linear equations exactly and approximately (e.g., with graphs), focusing on pairs of linear equations in two variables.
Understand that the graph of an equation in two variables is the set of all its solutions plotted in the coordinate plane, often forming a curve (which could be a line).
