Description

This lab is a series of questions that will reinforce the students' understanding of graphing linear equations as well as guide the students to an understanding of horizontal and vertical lines. Prerequisites: graphing by intercepts, graphing by slope-intercept form

I use this activity to introduce horizontal and vertical lines, but it can also be used to reinforce the concept.

A good follow-up lesson is to have the students recreate a Mondrian painting, which uses only vertical and horizontal lines.
