Students can practice their knowledge of linear equations and apply it to the real world by creating equations to represent how long it would take them to be able to afford certain items based on the job which they work. Students learn life lessons (like going to college will set you back 50,000) as well as that jobs where one attend college end up paying more in the long run.
Students use their knowledge to project income. Can be scaffolded up or down based on student need.
