In this technology lab students will create calculators to solve problems involving linear functions. It is broken down into 4 parts.

Part 1: Given coefficients A, B , and C of a linear function in standard form solve for the slope and x and y intercepts.

Part 2: Given 2 points solve for the slope and the x and y intercepts.

Part 3: Given 2 points and slope solve for A ,B, C.

There is also a bonus/challenge question.

For the teacher I will include a fully solved Excel file.

Also I have a file of step by step solutions that you can use when helping students that get stuck.(3 pages)

This should easily work for a full 90 minute block.
