Description

Look into the PREVIEW to get an idea of the types of inequalities that are provided. This lesson is designed for INTERACTIVE class discussion and individual learning. It comes in two styles to address 4th - 12th grade students. The student version is 6 pages. Answer keys are provided for both styles.

These inequalities are linked into real-life situations and ordinary math language. It requires modeling, trial - and -error, and working backwards. This is an expansion of solving equation with limitations. It helps student to improve on graphing solutions on a number line and applying specific properties of equality.

Of course, worksheets may be used as bellringers, exit-tickets, or task cards in a rotation activity.
