Description

Are you looking for an interactive activity for students to practice analyzing information regarding linear functions? This card sort is a great way for students to work with slope, y-intercept, correlation coefficient, tables of values, and linear equations.

This activity gives students 8 sets of data in a table. Students must create the linear regression line, determine the correlation coefficient, and identify the slope & y-intercept of the line of best fit. Students then sort the cards to create piles of cards that all represent the same data set.

Answer key is included - The cards can be printed with the provided clipart on the back of the card so that students can self-check their answers. All cards with the same clipart, all go together.

My Product Includes

  • 4 pages of cards - 1 page per topic (slope & y-intercept, correlation coefficient, linear equation, table of values)
  • 8 cards per page
  • Two teacher pages
