Description
These cards exercise not only imagination and creative problem solving, but also strategic thinking skills - because essentially you have to figure out how to get your character from point A to point C.
What's on the cards: Each card features two scenarios. The first describes a situation that happens to a character. The second describes a future scenario that results from that initial scenario.
What's the task:
- Participants have to come up with what happens in between these two scenarios that links them together - how does that initial scenario cause the future scenario?
- Think of it like a chain reaction, where participants are coming up with the in-between events.
- This is a flexible activity. Answers can be super simple or incredibly elaborate depending on one's level of creativity. For instance, the linking events can happen in a few minutes or take years to unfold; they can be realistic or outlandish - even magical in some cases; they can be short (just one or two in-between events) or the chain reaction can involve multiple events.
Age range: This pack offers a range of difficult. Generally speaking, the minimum age is around 10-ish.
PDF layouts: This zip file contains two PDF versions of the same content. It includes:
- a "for printing" version that is designed with four cards per 8.5" x 11" page, so you can print and cut into physical cards.
- a mobile-friendly version that is created with one card/slide per 4" x 6" page that is easily viewed on a device.
Pages: 94 pages (mobile-friendly version) | 26 pages (landscape version)
