This is a GREAT lab! I used it as an extension of food tests during our biochemistry unit. It's easy to follow, the reading provides information needed to answer the questions, the analysis questions promote higher level thinking, and it's a good visual of what foods are better/worse for your diet. My only complaint is the candle wax SUCKS to clean up. My students broke a few test tubes in the process. Otherwise, I'd give this lab 10/10!
