Read the text up to the star … click … and see an animation of what you just read. If you have purchased a symbol-supported version, the symbols will appear AFTER all the slide animations have been triggered. This strategy is designed to promote a 'literacy first' agenda. The picture symbols are then conveniently available to perform Aided Language Stimulation while the step is being completed.

Educators vary greatly in the amount of symbol support they prefer. Feel free to 'prune' the symbol array by first selecting the grouped symbols then holding down the shift to select the surplus symbols you wish to delete. http://bit.ly/Symbolate

This resource is a simple rendering of a traditional fairy tale. Little Red Riding Hood is also an excellent resource if you are conducting a unit on the Five Senses. If you wish to 'side-step' the killing of the wolf, select the grouping, then click on the wolf's tongue …. select delete … a hidden log beneath will be revealed! If that seems daunting ... an additional 'kinder page' has been added ... just switch pages! : )
