This is a Locomotor Assessment that can be used in the fall and then again in the spring to see which students made progress and which ones need more practice.
Categories being assessed:
- Walking
- Side-Stepping
- Galloping
- Marching
- Skipping
- Running
- Hopping Right Leg
- Hopping Left Leg
- Horizontal Jump
- Leaping
Grading Scale is 0-4, 0 meaning the student is unable to perform the skill and may need assistance and 4 meaning the child meets standards and able to perform the skill unassisted.
This is an assessment that is utilized with special needs students. It can also be used with general education elementary students.
