Description
In this color by number activity, students will solve logarithmic equations to then color a Valentine's Day themed picture.
In this activity students must be able to solve logarithmic equations in the following format:
- #1-3 are log = log resulting in linear equations
- #4-6 are log = log equations resulting in a quadratic equation
- #7-9 are equations that involve steps inside and outside the logarithm (3 steps)
- #10-12 are equations that involve steps inside and outside the logarithm (4 steps)
This activity promotes independence as students will need to solve the logarithmic equations and as students solve the equations, they will find their answers in the box on the back and cross it out. After solving every problem, there should be five remaining answer choices that will tell students how to color in the picture.
