Description

Challenge your high school and middle school students with three logic puzzles that will sharpen their critical thinking and problem solving skills.  Great for hands on group or partner work as an ice breaker. Logic puzzles are a great way to introduce or reinforce solving systems of equations, although all of these puzzles can also be solved without algebra. Use the clues to find the price of each item.

Included:

Three logic puzzles with Menu theme.

Worked out solutions.

Two printing versions for each puzzle:  print one or two puzzles per page.

How to use the puzzles in class:

Use as a time-filler between lessons or on a shortened day of school.

Have the students work individually or in pairs to solve the puzzles.

Create a challenge:  students get a chance to win a prize for each puzzle they complete.  They can write their name on a slip of paper and put it in a bowl.  At the end of the challenge a name is drawn from the bowl and the student wins a prize!
