Great for hands on group or partner work as an ice breaker. Logic puzzles are a great way to introduce or reinforce solving systems of equations, although all of these puzzles can also be solved without algebra. Use the clues to find the price of each item.

How to use the puzzles in class:
Use as a time-filler between lessons or on a shortened day of school.
Have the students work individually or in pairs to solve the puzzles.
Create a challenge: students get a chance to win a prize for each puzzle they complete. They can write their name on a slip of paper and put it in a bowl. At the end of the challenge a name is drawn from the bowl and the student wins a prize!
