Description

All students are held accountable for their choices and actions. Logical Consequences are a way of responding to misbehavior that is respectful of children and helps them take responsibility for their actions. Unlike punishment, the primary goal of Logical Consequences is to help children develop inner control by looking closely at their own behavior and learning from their mistakes.  Logical Consequences are related, respectful and reasonable. Making reparations gives children the opportunity to face and fix their mistakes. Use this interactive modeling script to model and teach Logical Consequences to your students.

REVISED: This product includes:

  • An introduction to Logical Consequences
  • Interactive Modeling Scripts for the 3 types of logical consequences: You Break It, You Fix It, Loss of Privilege, and Positive Time Out
  • One teacher led modeling script with 2 options to print (one sided or two sided)
  • Easy cut out templates to hole punch and attach to a binder ring.

Add more scripts to your binder ring to model and teach all classroom routines and expectations.

I really want to get away from point charts and prize boxes, and move into a more organic whole brain teaching situation. This was a good piece to the puzzle for me. Thanks!
