Long Division Cheat Sheet
Share

Description

Teaching students division is one of the hardest concepts, especially when learning it for the first time in 4th or 5th grade. And remembering all the different steps of multiplying, subtracting, bringing down numbers, keeping your numbers in the right place value, and grasping the concept of remainders is hard. Let along throw in all the new ways schools are trying to teach division. This old school long division cheat sheet is a valuable resource tool that breaks down each step of the long division process. This fractions cheat sheet is a great tool for math teachers, homeschool parents, and any parent or student.

This resource is a must have for long division because it’s:

- Color coded by step

- breaks down each step and gives an explanation

- uses examples for both leaving a remainder and turning the remainder into a mixed number answer

- remind them to self check

Contains 1 page PDF digital download in both a colored version and black and white version.

My recommendations is that you print this long division cheat sheet out in colored ink on heavy card stock paper and then laminate them. Your students will be able to use this resource for years to come!
