Description
This is a set of 12 task cards that contain long division problems with 2-digit divisors. Some answers have remainders and some do not. My kids needed all the extra help they could get practicing with this skill, so we did some practice with these.
It also includes student work/answer pages and a teacher answer document.
I normally pair my students up and have them work these out together. I set the cards up in stations around the room (or outside!) and have them rotate every 3-4 minutes. Once students get into a routine of using task cards, it is such a lovely experience as a teacher! You just sit back and let the kids learn cooperatively and solve problems while you sit back and watch what your excellent teaching has done!
You could also set these up as a center for early finishers.
Students can scan the QR codes with a QR scanner on an iPad or iPhone to see the answers to each problem, but don't need to if you do not want this component in your activity.
If you want to use this simply as a worksheet, it was created with printer-friendly colors, so you can print the problems and answer sheet and be prepared for good old-fashioned independent work.
