Behavior Rocks is a classroom routine and behavior management system that develops a "Rock" for common Classroom Routines! Each Behavior Rock combines a Rhyming Chant, a Rocking Action, and a Clearly Taught Behavior Procedure!!

Implementation:

1. Print and Display the Look, Look, Look Open Your Book Poster

2. Teach and practice the BEHAVIOR PROCEDURE Open Book.

3. Teach the RHYMING CHANT "Look Look Look Open your Book" You can add to the chant a page number or a subject book. Example "Look, Look, Look Open your Spelling Book."

4. Teach the ROCKING ACTION: Nodding Head

5. Combine it for a BEHAVIOR ROCK!

6. To get the students to get and open a book SIMPLY follow the BEHAVIOR ROCK!!
