Set B: Tile Fractions up to twelfths
Set C: Circle Factions up to twelfths
Set D: Comparing to Circle Factions to determine which is bigger
Why Low-Tech?
Understanding and learning to use technology and Web 2.0 tools is an important part of a school’s curriculum. Yet, there may be times when you would rather unplug your students and return to a simpler time of childhood wonder – a time when a secret decoder ring made you feel like you had special superpowers. Everyday Learning created Low-Tech :: Self-Check Task Cards because we believe in the power of magical thinking and how it can lead children to a creative journey of self-discovery.
How It Works
Everyday Learning’s Low-Tech :: Self-Check Task Cards are based upon the idea of color filters. Follow the directions for printing your task cards (see page 2) to create a 2-layer image of blue and red ink. When you use the Robot Decoder, the red printed ink blends into the background, revealing the printed answer hidden beneath.
