Description

Everyday Learning’s Low-Tech :: Self-Check Telling Time Task Cards offers your students a fun way to practice telling time. This packet includes a total of 40 task cards.

Set A: Telling time to the quarter-hour
Set B: Telling time to five-minute increments
Set C: Elapsed time, adding up to 30 minutes
Set D: Elapsed time, adding and subtracting units of time

Why Low-Tech?

Understanding and learning to use technology and Web 2.0 tools is an important part of a school’s curriculum. Yet, there may be times when you would rather unplug your students and return to a simpler time of childhood wonder – a time when a secret decoder ring made you feel like you had special superpowers. Everyday Learning created Low-Tech :: Self-Check Task Cards because we believe in the power of magical thinking and how it can lead children to a creative journey of self-discovery.

How It Works

Everyday Learning’s Low-Tech :: Self-Check Task Cards are based upon the idea of color filters. Follow the directions for printing your task cards (see page 2) to create a 2-layer image of blue and red ink. When you use the Robot Decoder, the red printed ink blends into the background, revealing the printed answer hidden beneath.

*** N O T E ***
You must use a color printer with this packet, if you want your students to be able to use the Robot Decoder to see the hidden answers.

NO REFUNDS will be issued if you purchase this packet and then realize you do not have a color printer to use.

Cute concept. Love the idea of unplugging kids and letting them feel like they have magic powers. Looking forward to using this.
