Description

Students investigate life cycles of plants and animals with a fun, technological twist. Makey Makey kits are used to record and code voice recordings about the different stages of life cycles. We used Pebble Go to research various animals and plants. This lesson was a hit in my 2nd grade classroom while meeting many Digital Learning Competency requirements! You could easily use this project without makey makey device, too. Hope you enjoy!

I'm new to Makey Makey so I really want to do a project like this. Still have questions about how to do it. Wish their was a link to an example project. How did you record their voices? Scratch? I really liked the idea of this project but really need more info on how to carry it out. Thank you for the idea and the sheets that go with it though.

Wonderful! I hope your students enjoy this lesson. We had so much fun, that I created another Makey Makey for Biographies. My students were very proud of their projects.
