Description
This calendar page is part of the ‘Color-In-Each-Day Calendar’ coloring book which is available for free download in my TpT store, Playground.
- Days are not numbered so the calendar is always current.
- All months in the calendar have 31 days to color.
- Digitized hand-drawn designs have been tidied up for crisp edges.
- A tiny heart has been placed on this page to remind you how much you are appreciated.
Click here to find the CHUNKY March version of this coloring page. With fewer and thicker lines, it works well with crayons, thicker markers, highlighters, paint and other wet media.

EASEL Activity: Adding color to a digitized page depends on the software/device being used. Coloring spaces may not be 100% fillable when using the ‘paint can’ to drop a color. Manual coloring may be the only option using the stylus pen or mouse. The following are some general tips to make coloring a fun and positive experience:
NOTE: a ‘Color Toolbox’ sampler page has been added to each Easel Activity. This is a simple visual reference of the tips below using the coloring tools available on Easel software. (This sampler page has not been added to the PDF download since it does not apply.)
- the CHUNKY version of each month may be less frustrating to color due to thicker lines and larger spaces to color, however the image used in the sampler page is the original sized month.
- enlarge the space to color as much as the screen allows.
- most pen tool colors are opaque and will cover the black line art.
- the highlight tool offers colors that are transparent giving a watercolor effect.
- if a highlight tool is not available, try changing the transparency setting of the color.
- to avoid marker overlap lines, don't lift up your stylus (or unclick your mouse) until you have filled in the entire space.
- don't be afraid to experiment … the undo, redo and delete tools are your friends.
- Front Cover – An answer box has been inserted in the ‘I BELONG TO:’ box to easily add your name.
- Color Wheel – Use the highlighter tool to overlap colors to see immediate blending. i.e. yellow and red make orange. Two or more ‘coats’ make the color more vibrant.
- DIY Page – Make and color your own designs by adding shapes and text. When adding shapes/text using the tools available in Easel, the fill color and border color/thickness can be easily changed with a click of a mouse. The DIY pages have their own sampler page to showcase the tool options on Easel.
- Change the name of the month by placing a white rectangle over the existing name. Use the text tool to type in the new name. Note: Each month in this calendar has 31 undated spaces to color which makes them interchangeable and always current.
- World Language – depending on your device, ALT codes, etc may be available to access special characters. If not available, try copy and paste.
