MATH CAMP 7-7-15 update - includes: slight redesign of Campsite signs and NEW Mathematical Practices Posters

MATH CAMP is a way to organize your math block in order to meet the needs of all your students. We use assessments, such as Add+Vantage and SNAP (from Math Recovery) to assess students and determine their developmental levels. From that point, students are grouped for guided math instruction, just as we group for guided reading instruction. Students are assigned to campsites and work independently or with a partner to complete the task. We often have a campsite contract that the students keep with their folder and math journal. Students record work in their journal, unless the task has a specific record sheet which is then included in the campsite folder.

4. MATH CAMP signs and labels for organizing, center baskets, center charts and student name tags
5. pictures of materials in use in a classroom

The MATH CAMP cards are designed to be printed on Avery-type postcards, 4 on a page. Make sure your printer is set correctly, for multiple pages printed. Check the visual or preview before printing.
