Welcome to the Finish Line!!

This is the MATH PAK for all those who love a good race!

In Bigger is Better, see if you can find the biggest number

before your opponent can!

In Race to 100! you'll decide how to arrange the digits to get

closest to a total of 100...but watch out, you never know

what's around the corner!

Next, you'll Race to the 90's, as you travel around the 100's

chart to see who can reach the bottom row first.

Finally, in the Turtle and the Hare, see if the turtle guesses the

equation before the Hare reaches the finish line!

Make sense of problems and persevere in solving them. Mathematically proficient students start by explaining to themselves the meaning of a problem and looking for entry points to its solution. They analyze givens, constraints, relationships, and goals.
