I struggled with finding more than plot recall questions for short answer or rigorous multiple choice questions so I made these and hope this helps you! Many of the more difficult questions, we discussed as we read or after as a class and they really forced students to dive a little deeper. For the pre-reading activities, quizzes, unit test, and projects, download the full unit file.
I do take a lot of time to create the worksheets and the common core test style questions so constructive feedback is greatly appreciated!

A fantastic resource for MAUS I. I really enjoyed how the guides helped my students work through the novel. The questions were well written and encouraged higher level thinking. Would you ever consider creating a similar style guide for MAUS II?
