Description
Currently, there are not assessment cards that show the alignment of the MN math standards and benchmarks for first grade. Here there is approximately one Minnesota math benchmark per card that can be printed and laminated. Once laminated, dry erase markers or visa vis markers could be used. They can be used as an individual student, small group, or class-wide assessment to determine student knowledge of the Minnesota math benchmarks. The teacher asks the questions, and the students answer. The students' answers could then be used to create math stations, or adjust teaching strategies, based on what the students do and do now know.
